I recently moved from my home in the Midwest to go to school in New York. Upon arrival, I was instantly enthralled with the diversity of the quirky, charming, often beat up, occasionally rare, and always interesting cars of Brooklyn. I apologize in advance for the quality of some of the pictures (I'm no photographer), and the fact that while I find these cars interesting, many people may not.

To start off, I saw this gen 1 MR2 in a rather odd shade of green...

Kinja'd!!!

There's a ridiculous amount of 90's German wagons around here (Not that I'm complaining), but this e34 was by far the nicest.

Kinja'd!!!

There's some pretty cool old American metal here too, like this late 60's Cutlass by the Brooklyn Bridge.

Kinja'd!!!

I can't say I was expecting to see this DBS...

Kinja'd!!!

And something even more uncommon than a DBS, a tastefully done Civic.

Kinja'd!!!

This FJ40 looked like it had seen a hard life, but I'd still rock it.

Kinja'd!!!

I'll finish this off the same way I did last time; with a third-gen (I believe) Corolla, this one being a very cool coupe

Thanks for reading! Part 3 comes next Monday

Awesome, welcome to the Beast Coast.

Read quickly about the Rule of Thirds. Many of those pics turn into amazing with a little adjustment.

Keep it up, those are some great finds.

Thank you! I'll try and improve my photo skills, but I often have to use my crappy cell camera:(

You're welcome, but I'm just passing it along. You can have the worst camera ever, but a little more sky, or cobbles, or a little left or right and all of a sudden it's a moving, living picture with a story. I learned this later than I'd like, but it's huge.

Shit's awesome though. Please keep bringing us Brooklyn. Thanks.

That SL is crissssspy. Had a '94 in racing green, but that shade of red is making me rethink that decision...

That red with a tan interior was a great combination. It was one of the best condition SL's I've seen in a long time.

I park my car here too sometimes! My father lives in dumbo, and I see a bunch of these cars that you have photographed. That red SL was super nice.

If you see a blue C-240 4Matic wagon with NJ plates, that is my dad's car! Welcome to Brooklyn.

I'll keep an eye out for it next time I'm in dumbo!
